The Township of Macdonald Meredith and Aberdeen Additional have three active cemeteries.
The Maple Leaf Cemetery is located on Maple Leaf Road and the caretaker is Allen Hurley. The Sylvan Valley Cemetery is located on Cemetery Road and the caretaker is Carlo Boniferro as of May 1. The Aberdeen Cemetery is located on Highway 638 and the caretaker is Mert Alcock. All inquiries are to be put through the township office at 705-248-2441 or email twpmacd@onlink.net.
The current price per lot is $100.00 for the land and $250.00 for Perpetual Care for a total price of $350.00.

When viewing this site (find a grave) it will say “page not found” – just click on the “cemetery look up” in the left margin and put in Maple Leaf Cemetery and Canada. From here you will be given an option to a number of different cemeteries, just click on Maple Leaf Cemetery in Echo Bay [it should be the second one down]. Then type in the person that you are looking for and just follow the instructions. The Sylvan Valley & Aberdeen Cemetery site have only a few submissions registered as these sites are being updated when time permits. You will find Maple Leaf Cemetery information here.
