The Township of Macdonald, Meredith & Aberdeen Additional is the responsible municipality for conducting the 2026 election for one (1) Trustee representing the Central Algoma Area on the Algoma District School Board.

Nominations may be filed with the Clerk beginning Friday, May 1, 2026 and ending Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

The filing fee for School Board Trustee is $100.00.
Appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure availability and allow sufficient time to review nomination documents.
The Algoma District School Board Trustee Election will be administered by the participating municipalities within the Central Algoma Area using the voting method authorized by each municipality for the 2026 Municipal Election.
