ROADS-REGULAR WINTER MAINTENANCE
Although winter is slow coming this year we would like to remind everyone about road safety. Please do not park on municipal roads from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. The Road Crew goes out in the early hours to ensure the roads are ready for school busses and those travelling to work.
Do not push snow across the road. This creates a hazardous situation for those travelling our roads but, also for our equipment with frozen snow and ice clumps. This is also illegal under Section 181 of the Highway Traffic Act so you could receive a ticket.
We need to keep our roads safe so we ask that everyone do their part.
